Focus:
Most individuals don’t need to hire an attorney until life’s issues become overwhelming and leave no other option. Background:
Michael King is a San Antonio native and graduated from San Antonio College in 1985 and UTSA in 1992. While working full-time as a San Antonio Police officer, he started law school at St. Mary’s School of Law in 2007. Upon graduation he opened up his own practice. He began a dual practice of probate and family law and currently practices in the areas of family, probate, criminal and business law.
Mr. King’s extensive career has provided tactical and mediation skills honed through years of practice as a police officer and police supervisor. His childhood experience of divorce on the family and his personal insight gained through these personal struggles make him a valuable asset when dealing with difficult situations involving the family.
Education:
Associate of Arts Degree from San Antonio College in May of 1985.
Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from UTSA in May of 1992.
Doctorate of Jurisprudence from St. Mary’s University school of law in December 2013.
Licensed with the State bar of Texas in January 2014.

Work History:
Entered the San Antonio Police Academy in March of 1988.
Began as a San Antonio police officer in September 1988.
Promoted to Detective/Investigator in 1993.
Promoted to Sergeant in 1996.
Promoted to Lieutenant in 2002.
Michael King holds a Master Peace Officer’s Certification and received the Life Saving Award in May 2012.
